Junior Copywriter

Creative (HYD)

The Copywriter, working in partnership with an Art Director, is responsible for the creation and development of advertising concepts which sell the Clientʼs brands, products or services.


  • Translate creative strategies with emphasis on writing into dramatic, innovative and relevant executional concepts
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of popular trends and stimuli in society
  • Generate effective and imaginative concepts, headlines and copy
  • Bring ideas to life with vivid language and examples
  • Express ideas clearly, concisely and persuasively
  • Maintain copy quality control throughout all aspects of the production process regardless of medium
  • Presentation to clients of concepts as required
  • Complete timesheets on a daily basis
  • Attend all agency or creative meetings on time


  • Must possess good communication, presentation, writing and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Previous agency experience on major brands
  • Proven track record in quality work (creative & effectiveness awards)
  • Understands marketing and creative strategies for assigned brands, products or services
  • Understanding of people and what motivates/interests them
  • Broad life experience
